“Good Dog!” has drawn excellent ratings in the important Women 25-54 and Men 25-54 segments, with a 217 index for A25-34. The series is seen on Life Network in Canada, Lifestyle in Australia and Living Channel in New Zealand.

In each of the programs, well-known dog authority Dr. Stanley Coren helps people deal with their dog behavior concerns or in some cases, preparing for events such as a new baby arriving, a planned road trip across the country, or a dog becoming handicapped. Sometimes our featured guests want pointers on such things as including their dog in sporting activities like agility or back-country hiking.

Throughout the series, Dr. Coren shows the basics of good training and socialization of dogs.

The dog behavior problems he deals with are wide ranging - barking, chewing, leash-pulling, jumping up, aggression, housebreaking are only a few of them. Other topics include teaching a dog to retrieve; dog safety on boats, introducing a puppy to his new home; handling large, potential dangerous dogs, helping rescued dogs become secure, and more.
